Welcome, New York Makeup Artists!

The purpose of the New York City Makeup Artist Meetup Group is to create a community for makeup artists in New York City. We get together through collaborative events once a month, where members network and share ideas on building their careers.

This meetup is great for makeup artists of all different levels. We all have something to "give and take" from this community. No matter what your experience level, we all share the same passion - making other people look beautiful with simple touches of makeup!

A few things we do (or plan to do this year):
* Workshops with experts from the industry (The Powder Group, producers of The Makeup Show, is one of our partners)
* Social meetups for members to mix and mingle
* Discounts for specialty workshops and training

* If you're looking to a hire a makeup artist, please send us an email. Include what you need, what kind of gig, etc. We'll be glad to forward it to members.
* If you're looking to learn more about applying makeup, there are numerous meetups geared for consumers. This is a group is pro-to-pro only.
