N·Y·B·S CREATIVE ARTS was started in New York City in April 1994 by fashion designer Akemi Sone. N·Y·B·S CREATIVE ARTS interprets makeup as art and teaches its techniques, knowledge, and artistic sensibility by completely new methods that accommodate to the individual level and background of each student. Our mission is to draw talent and individuality from each student. Further, N·Y·B·S CREATIVE ARTS supports the beauty interests of those who use makeup, such as models, actresses, newscasters, dancers, career women, and women with active life styles.

There is a wide variety of courses offered at N·Y·B·S CREATIVE ARTS, such as basic makeup, professional makeup, hair styling, special effects, henna, and much more. Most courses range anywhere from from 1 to 12 months. You will recieve in depth one on one training in a small class setting in a beautiful studio located in Midtown Manhattan.
